How to judge whether the network analyzer is faulty? Network maintenance

Time:2021-04-06             Xi'an Agitek spectrometer maintenance center    1269

I believe that engineers are not unfamiliar with Agilent's network analyzers. Have you encountered network analyzer failures in daily use? The following Agitek Network Analyzer Repair Center shares:

Agilent network analyzer common troubleshooting:

1. Power failure;

2. Display failure;

3. Local oscillator failure;

4. Signal path failure;

5. Faults such as processor failure can be quickly repaired.

So what does the above failure look like? How to judge?

1. Power failure usually manifests as: the power indicator on the front panel does not light up, the fan does not rotate, the instrument cannot be started normally, or the power supply voltage is unstable, which causes the spectrum analyzer to reset continuously, and the signal power caused by the low analog voltage is low, etc.

2. The display failure usually manifests as: no display (black screen), blurred screen, and gray-white display. Display failure may be caused by the failure of the display itself, the failure of the graphics processing board or the failure of the CPU.

3. The local oscillator failure is usually manifested as: the local oscillator loses lock, the signal insertion loss caused by the low local oscillator power is large, and the local oscillator spectral purity is poor.

4. Signal path faults are usually manifested as: input connector faults, signal cable faults, attenuator faults, preselector faults, inverter faults, intermediate frequency amplification/filtering faults, data acquisition and processing faults.

5. Processor failures usually manifest as: processor hardware and program failures. Due to the high reliability of processor hardware, processor failures are program (software) failures in most cases.

The above are the five common faults of Agilent network analyzers sorted out by Agitek Network Analyzer Service Center (www.agitekservice.com) to share. I hope it will be helpful for everyone to use this equipment in the future.
